The Bible tells us that Jesus was crucified outside of the city walls of Jerusalem, at Golgotha, "the place of the skull." Christians who lived in Jerusalem after his death knew exactly where that place was. But today, can we know with certainty the spot where Jesus was crucified? What does archaeology tell us?
